Taylor Skinner
Hey y’all!
I’m Taylor Skinner— but you can call me TayTay, TSkins, TMoney, whatever feels right! I thought it’d be fun to start by sharing a little bit about myself. This way, we can connect better.
So here’s the rundown:
I was born in Aventura, Florida (March 6, 2001— yep, that makes me 23!), and yes, I’m a Pisces! But don’t worry, I promise I’m one of the cool ones not one of overly-emotional ones. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the start of my 6th grade year. I stayed there until I graduated high school. After that, I went to the University of Florida. There, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Advertising. I also pursued a minor in Innovative Strategy.
Oh, and I can’t forget to mention my little sister! I have a 7-year-old sibling (yes, we’re 17 years apart—wild, right?). She’s the light of my life, and even though there’s quite an age gap, we’re closer than ever. I love being a role model for her and sharing all the experiences that come with being her big sis!
Along the way, I became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and started my own lash business in 2021 (which is doing really well, thank you for asking). My hobbies include going to Disney World (or really any amusement park). I also enjoy listening to music, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. Also, I love reading and staying active with fitness. Its important to know I am also a huge animal lover. My dog Keigo is a 3-year-old bundle of energy and the cutest little guy ever.
Since a child I’ve always been a creative soul at heart. I’m all in when it comes to coming up with fresh ideas. I’m all in for designing things. I’m also all in for figuring out ways to make a brand or service stand out. My passion for creativity runs deep. There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than being part of something visually stunning and equally impactful. One of my big career dreams is to work with a high-end brand on marketing, branding, or even art direction. I want to help build iconic brands that not only look amazing but truly connect with people. I’m always exploring new ways to push boundaries and bring fresh perspectives into the mix.
Now, I won’t lie—my journey hasn’t always been smooth. I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs. These include losing my grandmother in 2020, failing classes, getting my heart broken, and losing friends along the way. But looking back, I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. All those tough moments have shaped me into who I am today. I’ve learned so much and grown stronger. As Tim S. Grover says, “Being relentless means demanding more of yourself than anyone else could ever demand of you. You know that every time you stop, you can still do more.” That quote really resonates with me because your hardest times teach you the most about yourself.
As a Christian, I truly believe that God’s plan is always greater than our own. Even when we don’t understand why certain things happen. I trust that everything in my life has a purpose. I am grateful for the strength and guidance I get through my faith. It’s a feeling that keeps me driven and focused as I step into the next chapter of my journey.
So cheers, and here’s to fresh starts and new beginnings! ✨
